Eleanor Crook - Simple
Eleanor is in her third year at Queen's University in Kingston,
Ontario. She has acted in a medley of Shakespeare plays, including The
Winter's Tale as Perdita and Twelfth Night as Malvolio. She enjoys
writing, painting and tae kwon do. She was lured to the Okanagan by
family in 2010
Howard Davis - Slender
At twenty years old and with over 50 theatre/film credits under his
belt Howard is no stranger to the stage having performed in England,
Canada and the US. He is currently training at Ryerson Theatre School
in Toronto with goals to perform at The Stratford Shakespeare Festival
one day.
Katie Davis - Mistress Quickly
Katie has been performing from a very young age in musicals, modern
and classical theatre. She will be entering her 3rd year at the
prestigious Ryerson Theatre School in Toronto where she is studying
for her BFA in Performance Acting. She dreams of working in film,
television and theatre
Rome Donati - Mistress Ford
Rome is honored and delighted to find herself amongst this most
talented and merry cast and crew. Her two daughters Isabel and Claire
inspire her with their limitless creativity, enthusiasm, and joir de
vive. Thank you for coming and enjoy the show. Laugh Heartily
Paul Henry - Page
Paul was in Shakespeare Kelowna's productions of Macbeth and A
Midsummer Night's Dream, having had one prior acting experience as the
hind legs of a horse in a variety show in Brighton, England in his
youth. Paul wishes to thank Stephen Jeffereys, the crew and his fellow
cast members for their tireless work and inspiration
Vivian Hughes - Mistress Page
Vivian is delighted to be back performing with Shakespeare Kelowna.
She was last involved as the director of "Romeo and Juliet". Vivian
has been part of over a hundred productions; plays, musicals, operas
and operettas as a performer, director or choreographer. Vivian hopes
that you will enjoy the show and see how "Wives may be merry, and yet
honest too!"
Sarah Macfarlane - Robin
Sarah is extremely excited to be in her first Shakespeare Kelowna
Production. Most recently, Sarah played "Alice" in Alice's Adventures
in Wonderland with Bumbershoot Children's Theatre. She has loved
working with such a fun and supportive cast along with such a talented
director. Enjoy the show!
Ray Mordan - Shallow
Ray is honored to be involved with Shakepeare Kelowna and "Merry Wives
of Windsor" as the cast and crew are so talented and capable. One of
his recent roles was "Elwood P Dowd" in Kelowna Actor Studio
production "Harvey". Thank you, Stephen, for the chance to join the
production. I am having a wonderful time!
Colm O'Reilly - Bardolph, Caius
Colm O'Reilly's first role was as Peter in The Passion (2006). He had
the lead in a CATO film titled The Green Elephant (2007). He's done
two musicals with KAS, Kiss and Mame (2008/2009) and last year he
filmed a commercial with CHBC. This is Colm's first season with
Shakespeare Kelowna.
Don Plant - Ford
Don has acted since he was a kid, mostly to deflect blame onto others.
In this show, he plays a jealous cuckold on the brink of insanity,
which the director assures him is not type-casting. Don is grateful to
his family for letting him show his dirty linen in public.
Ashley Plomp - Anne Page
Ashley Plomp is excited to join Shakespeare Kelowna's team! Ashley has
recently stepped off Powerhouse Theatre's stage where she played
"Maggie" in Lend Me A Tenor. Ashley has a true love for Shakespeare
and is very excited to be part of such a delightful play
Jeff Samin - Sir Hugh Evans
It has been a Comedy of Errors with Much Ado About Nothing to have
been involved in a Midsummer Night's Dream in this Hamlet of Kelowna
with Shakespeare Kelowna. Looking forward to my latest romp with the
good people of SKS.
Konar Sanderson - Rugby, Servant 1
Konar Sanderson is 13 and has been actively involved in numerous plays
& musicals in the community. This is his first experience with
Shakespeare Kelowna and is honoured to join this talented cast & crew.
He enjoyed the challenge of getting to know the language of
Shakespeare. Enjoy the show!
George Snowdon - Host of the Garter
George has had minor roles in most of the productions of Shakespeare
Kelowna. He likes the minor roles - they get him involved in the fun
and games of rehearsals, performances and parties without the stressof playing the hero.
Frank Takacs - Falstaff
Frank is thrilled and excited to be joining Shakespeare Kelowna for
his first production. Hailing from Alberta, Frank now proudly calls
Kelowna home. Previous credits include "Lost in Yonkers", "Lend Me a
Tenor" and "Brighton Beach Memoirs" and has been seen on the big
screen in the feature film "Snow Day". Artistic Director for Murder
and Mayhem Ink, Frank also performs in murder mysteries throughout the
Okanagan all year round. He would like to thank everyone for coming
to join us for "Merry Wives of Windsor" and thank you to his friends
and family for their continued support.
Joachim Weise - Pistol, Servant 2
Joachim is pleased to be part of this production with a talented cast.
This is his 5th Shakespeare play and was also his first in 2003 as
Bardolph. Followed by "Twelfth Night" (Malvolio), "Romeo and Juliet"
(Gregory, Friar John, Watchman) and "Midsummer Night's Dream"
(Philostrate).
Emma Yarrow - Nym
Emma has been acting, singing and playing various musical instruments
for the majority of her life. She has been in school acting and/or
musical productions since 1st grade. This is her second time
performing a Shakespeare play and she is thrilled to be a part of the
project. She hopes to be performing in plays and musicals throughout
the rest of her life
Evan Yarrow - Fenton
Evan has been acting for most of his life and has been in over ten
plays. He was just in OKM Secondary's production of Hairspray. This is
Evans second Shakespeare production, and he is really excited. he
plans to continue his acting career, and looks forward to this
experience
